PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF 2027 BUDGET:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Ulysses has completed the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year 2027.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Ulysses will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026 at 7pm at the Town Hall at 10 Elm St., Trumansburg NY 14886. The public may join in person or via Zoom videoconference at https://zoom.us/j/183862745 (by telephone at +1-646-558-8656, 183862745#).
The purpose of the hearing is to hear public comments on the 2027 Preliminary Budget. Comments can be made at the hearing by yourself or a representative; or submitted in writing by 6pm on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026 to the Town Clerk at clerk@townofulyssesny.gov.
Pursuant to section 107 of Town Law, the proposed annual salaries of the elected officials are hereby specified as follows: Town Supervisor $43,830; Town Council (4) at $5930 each; Town Clerk $69,210 (plus Assigned Duties of Water District 3 Billing ($5000) & Communication Coordinator ($5000)); Town Highway Superintendent $82,220 (plus Assigned Duties of Water District 3 ($2125) & General Water Supervision ($2120)); Town Justice at $30,010.
