2025-2045 Comp Plan Update

The Town is updating its Comprehensive Plan. Comp plans are most successful when citizens from all aspects of the town are represented. Get involved in one the following ways:

• Visit the Comp Plan website and the Town's Comp Plan Steering Committee website
• Join the comp plan listserv

Notice of Public Hearing
The Comp Plan Steering Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday November 5, 2025 at Town Hall, 10 Elm Street, Trumansburg, NY 14886, at 5:00 pm for the Draft 2025-2045 Comprehensive Plan:

• Introduction
• Land Use & Future Land Use Map
• Housing Element
• Built Environment Element​
• Economic Development Element
• Environment & Natural Resources Element
• Climate Change & Resiliency Element
• Transportation
• Community Well-Being
• Capital Facilities, Services, and Utilities
• State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) Full Environmental Assessment Form

 
Comments on the draft chapters may be presented at a Town Board meeting or at a CPSC meeting.
